According to figures released by the Government of Dubai Media Office, the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) hosted 100 large-scale exhibitions, conventions and conferences in 2024, generating a total economic output of Dh22.35 billion.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Within that, the healthcare, medical and scientific sector accounted for 21 events, contributing Dh3.68 billion in gross value added (GVA) to Dubai\u2019s economy \u2013 underscoring the growing weight of medical gatherings within the emirate\u2019s knowledge-driven economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Dubai\u2019s health leadership, these conferences are more than networking platforms \u2013 they are strategic tools aligned with long-term prevention goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cPrevention is a core pillar of Dubai Health\u2019s strategy.
